STEP 4. CONNECT TO THE NETWORK

groov Box User’s Guide

For mounting on a DIN rail:

a. Using the screws provided, install the DIN rail clip on the back of the groov Box.

b. Attach the groov Box to the DIN rail.

Step 4. Connect to the Network

a. Connect an Ethernet cable from ETH0 to your computer’s network.

NOTE: Opto 22 recommends connecting ETH0 to a network with DHCP and DNS services. If you do not

have these services, you’ll need to manually configure networking.

b. The two independent Ethernet connectors (ETH0 and ETH1) have separate IP addresses that

can be used to segment a control system’s network from the enterprise LAN. If your Opto 22
